Terms of using FormatIQ

By visiting this site and/or purchasing a plan from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including the additional policies referenced by hyperlink. These terms apply to all users of the site. You represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and are not barred from receiving services under the laws of Pakistan or any other applicable jurisdiction. We may update these terms from time to time; each time you place an order you agree to the latest version.

FormatIQ reformats documents you supply into journal, conference, university and CV templates. It changes formatting; it preserves your words. It is nota writing service and does not generate academic content on your behalf. You remain responsible for the accuracy, originality and academic integrity of your work, and for meeting your institution’s or publisher’s rules. Formatted output may occasionally require manual review before submission.

You may use FormatIQ for your own academic and professional work. You are prohibited from using this website or its content: for any unlawful purpose; to solicit others to perform unlawful acts; to violate any laws or regulations; to infringe our intellectual property rights or those of others; to harass, abuse, defame or discriminate against any person; to submit false or misleading information; to upload or transmit viruses or malicious code, or to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service; to collect or track the personal information of others, or to spam, phish, spider, crawl or scrape; or for any obscene or immoral purpose. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service for any prohibited use.

You keep all rights to the documents you upload and to the outputs you download. We do not claim ownership of your work. We process your files solely to produce your formatted result, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information when signing up and keep it current.

Some features are available free with usage limits; others require a paid plan. Prices are displayed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) on our pricing page and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by our payment partner; we do not store your card details. FormatIQ is a digital service — there is no physical shipment. Access is granted electronically and is normally available immediately after your payment is confirmed. If your plan has not activated within 30 minutes of a successful payment, contact us at formatiq.career@gmail.com and we will resolve it or refund you.

If a document fails to generate because of a fault on our side, you are not charged a usage credit for it, and you may request a refund. Refund eligibility, the refund window and how to claim are set out in full on our Refund Policy page, which forms part of these terms. We reserve the right not to process an order where the Service is unavailable, where the request breaches these terms, or for any reason outside our reasonable control.

This website and its related software and content (including images and designs) are the intellectual property of and are exclusively owned by FormatIQ. The structure, organisation and code of the website and its related software contain valuable trade secrets and confidential information of FormatIQ. Except as expressly stated here, these terms do not grant you any intellectual property rights in the website or its software, and all rights are reserved.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless FormatIQ and our officers, employees, agents, contractors, licensors and service providers from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party arising out of your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, completeness or suitability of the information and materials offered on this website for any particular purpose. Your use of the Service is at your own risk, and it is your responsibility to ensure the output meets your specific requirements. To the extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Please always keep your own copy of important documents.

We may change or terminate your access to the Service, this website or any membership, with or without notice and without liability, if you have provided false or misleading registration information, interfered with other users or the administration of the Service, upon request by law enforcement or a governmental authority, or otherwise breached these terms.

If any portion of these terms is found unenforceable, that portion will be amended to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and if it cannot be made enforceable it will be severed, with the remainder staying in full force. A failure to enforce any term is not a waiver of it. Any amendment or waiver must be made in writing by us.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. You agree that the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan (including any consumer court) shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising between you and us in connection with these terms or your use of the Service.
